What we collect and why.

Anonymous website activity

We may record a random browser-session identifier, the page viewed, the type of device, the time of the visit, and whether a website contact button was selected. Canyonlight Web Co. does not intentionally store IP addresses, precise locations, advertising identifiers, or browser fingerprints in its website analytics database.

If Google Analytics is enabled for the production website, it loads only after you choose “Allow analytics.” Canyonlight configures it without advertising signals and with IP anonymization enabled. You may decline without losing access to the website or inquiry form.

Information you submit

If you send an inquiry, we collect the information you choose to provide, including your business name, contact name, email address, optional phone number and website, and project details.

How information is used

• Respond to your request and determine whether the standard website package is a good fit.
• Prepare requested website concepts, estimates, and project communications.
• Understand general website activity and improve the customer experience.
• Protect the website and investigate misuse or fraudulent submissions.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell submitted contact information. Information may be processed by service providers used to host the website, store inquiries, or deliver business communications, and may be disclosed when required by law.

Retention and your choices

Anonymous activity records are generally kept for up to 13 months. Inquiry records are generally kept for up to 24 months unless a longer period is reasonably needed for an active customer relationship, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing canyonlightweb@gmail.com.
